Imagine Your Way To Success

Hi Everyone. I sometimes wonder how do I start a post. It’s friday evening and I am sitting in front of my computer writing a post. (I still feel I should go out and party.).

But there are lot of things to be done today so I have postponed the party idea for tomorrow. Now what I am going to discuss with you is very very POWERFUL.

I promised you something in the headline so keeping my promise, I would ask you to do a simple exercise and actually it’s not even a exercise just free movements of arms and legs. Now if you have been in the gym you know what exercises you do there. Now just do the same exercises without holding any weights and you just have to imagine that you are holding those weights. Do the same amount of repetitions and sets you do in the gym. Wait for 15 days just 15 days or even earlier. You know what you will notice.

YOU ARE DEVELOPING MUSCLES WITHOUT LIFTING WEIGHTS

Trust me on that and I will eat a cake of the size of an elephant if that doesn’t happen.

This is the awesome POWER of imagination. Our poor mind doesn’t knows the difference between a vivid imagination and a real experience. It will release the same chemicals in your body. Try imagining your favorite steak food for a moment and your mouth will water.

Imagined or real experience our mind gives the same response.

Now we all must have our goals set out if not just set them out.
Start imagining as if you have achieved our goals once or twice a day.
You will start creating references of your success by tricking your mind and you are on your pathway to create a strong empowering belief about yourself.

Some more proof on what imagination can do.

  1. A Basketball group imagined and improved their game by 28% compared to the group which actually practiced and improved by 30%
  2. To run a mile in or under 4 minutes was considered impossible. Roger Bannister broke this barrier by imagining it several times in his head in 1954.
  3. Anthony Robbins rose from being broke to millionaire by 25 by consistently imagining his goals. Of course he took massive action too.

Imagination should be followed by an action plan as merely imagining your goals won’t get you anywhere. So if you are not doing it now I would strongly recommend you to do it. By doing it you are giving strong signals to your brain and creating a pathway and a belief about yourself which no one can shatter.

    Powerful stuff! I’m glad you reminded people to take action as well. You can imagine all day long but without following up with massive and consistent action not much will happen :)

    Yes taking action is equally important infact much more important. One piece of action is better than 1000 words put together. Thanks for dropping by.
